🛞 Why Does My ETENWOLF Tire Inflator Instantly Reach the Set Pressure and Shut Off?
Applies to Models:
✅ Zephyr S3
✅ Zephyr S5
✅ Vortex S6
If your tire inflator reaches the target pressure and shuts off almost immediately after turning it on, you're not alone — this is a known issue that can usually be fixed with a simple cleaning.
⚠️ What the Issue Looks Like
After connecting your tire inflator to the valve and pressing the power button:
-
The pressure reading quickly jumps to the preset value within 3–10 seconds.
-
The screen turns black, and the device shuts off without inflating the tire.
🧯 Possible Cause #1: Blocked Airflow from Debris in the Hose
This often happens when dirt or small debris blocks the high-pressure hose, disrupting airflow. When airflow is blocked, the inflator mistakenly thinks it has reached the target pressure and shuts off.
✅ How to Fix It:
-
Power off the device and disconnect it from the tire.
-
Carefully inspect the hose opening and brass connector.
-
Use tweezers or a thin tool to remove any visible debris or obstruction.
-
Reconnect the inflator and test it again.
🔩 Possible Cause #2: Damaged Crossbar in Brass Nut
If cleaning does not solve the issue, the crossbar inside the brass nut (where the hose connects to the valve) may be broken or bent, causing abnormal airflow detection.
