What to Do If Your Ball Pump Displays 'Error Code 16' (E16)?

Updated on May 28, 2025

Applies to Models:
✅ P200
✅ P300
✅ P300 Plus

❓ What Does E16 Mean?

The E16 error code indicates an overpressure issue, meaning the internal pressure has exceeded the device’s safety threshold of 29 PSI.

This is a built-in safety mechanism to protect both the pump and the item being inflated.

🔄 What Happens When E16 Appears?

  • The E16 code displays for 5 seconds, alerting you of the overpressure condition.

  • The device will automatically reduce the pressure to below 28 PSI.

  • Once pressure is normalized, the device resumes normal operation — no manual reset is needed.

✅ What You Should Do

Nothing!
Just wait — the device will take care of the adjustment for you.

After the E16 code clears, you can continue inflating as usual.

💡 Pro Tips to Avoid E16:

  • Don’t set the target pressure above 29 PSI (the device's safe operating limit).

  • Make sure you're using the pump for compatible items such as sports balls and small inflatables.

  • If you notice repeated E16 errors, double-check the type of ball or item being inflated for compatibility.
